Minimum Order Quantity Inquiry

Minimum order inquiry

Minimum order quantity is the smallest quantity a supplier will sell in one order, and it differs by model on this site, because it differs by model across the official detail pages. This page explains the distribution, so a buyer can understand it, and explains how to confirm the quantity for their exact model, rather than assuming a single figure.

The distribution, as captured

Across the 101 official detail pages, minimum order is 1 piece on 82 pages, 2 pieces on 14 pages, 5 pieces on 4 pages, and 10 pieces on 1 page. That distribution is a description of the captured pages, not a promise for any single model, and it must not be read as a site-wide minimum of 1 piece: 19 pages state a higher minimum, and a buyer who orders 1 piece of a model whose minimum is 2, 5 or 10 will find the order cannot proceed as written.

A buyer who needs a specific model should read that model's page, where its own minimum is stated, or ask in the inquiry, naming the model and the quantity, so the minimum for that model is confirmed before the order is placed. A buyer who orders in bulk should confirm the minimum for every model in the order, not just for one, because minima differ by model.

Why minima differ

Minima differ because models differ in production, stocking, and handling: a model that is stocked in volume can be sold singly, while a model that is produced to order or stocked in small numbers needs a larger minimum to justify the order. That is a normal commercial difference, not an inconsistency, and a buyer who understands it will not be surprised by a higher minimum on a less common model.

Minima also differ because the official detail pages were written at different times and for different models, and a minimum that was set for one model does not transfer to another. A buyer should therefore treat every model's minimum as its own, and confirm it, rather than assuming a site-wide figure.

What to confirm before ordering

Name the model, the quantity you have in mind, and the market you sell into. Ask for the minimum order quantity for that exact model, and confirm it in the quotation, before payment, so the order's quantities are known and agreed, rather than discovered after payment. Ask also for the specification, the lead time with its meaning, the payment and shipping terms, the warranty terms, and the certificates that apply to your market, by name, with documents attached.

Before payment, confirm the minimum order quantity, lead time, payment, shipping and warranty terms for your order. Certificates are available upon request.
